Where I stay it can sometimes get up to 100 degrees and hot and muggy. Should i wear liquid foundation or wear powder foundation ? Does liquid foundation melt in the heat? Does powder foundation melt in the heat ?Is liquid foundation good to wear in the summertime?
Any foundation would melt and go clumpy in the sun.
Your best bet is to use a tinted moisturiser with a high SPF.Is liquid foundation good to wear in the summertime?
I find that a foundation is too thick to wear in the summer and the heat will cause it to melt, causing you to look streaky. I also think that powder would make you too matte for the summer as in the summer you want a dewy look.
Personally, i would go for a tinted moistuiser as this will provide light coverage and not melt or streak in the heat. Most tinted moisturisers will have spf too which aree perfect for protecting your skin in the summertime.
Many brands do tinted moisturisers from drugstore brands such as loreal to higher end brands such as clinique.
I would strongly recommend the benefit you rebel lite as it is a lovely tinted moisturiser and has spf 15 :D
Hope this helps

i suggest powder foundation during summer, and no, powder foundation doesn't met, it's powder.
liquid foundation can melt, but it also depends on the brand of foundation,. I wear physicians formula and then i went running in the ran for an hour, and it didn't met, so you might try that one.
or i heard that the revlon colorstay is also really good...
and as for powder i use the almay one clear complexion, i used neutrogena but i don't recommend it because it's way to light, it doesn't cover anything, at leat it didn't for my skin.
I hope this helps, so you should thry a couple of foundations. from drugstores you can trun them back if they don't work, but i don't know about the mac or ther more expensive cause i don't have money for that..
LIQUIED FOUNDATION TIPS AND SEASONS
Winter: Have you noticed things crack a bit in winter? Lips dry skin? What about your liquide foundation how does it feel how many coats do you wear? Most people tent to put 2 or 3 coats any time of season heres the problem with winter it makes ur skin more cacky and unfresh. The trick is: take a normal round coton ball with foundation with one dip. and makr a thin layer with it as an extra skin very thin layer. After that spead it around with your fingers to blend. Then after a then layer of powder.
Fall/spring- these seasons you can apply the foundations standard except for april showers. In the showers never apply powder becuase the humidity will make it werid unless you use I.D Bare Minerals like I use. For the april shower put water proof foundation.
Summer-This time is not realy the time to wear anymakeup unless you quickly pat powder on the forehead cheek nos and chin and with a clean brush spread it. For the foundation lovers user water proof type. Thw way to apply dab on cheecks the size of a pea then chin nose and foreheard and spread. If you are going to be outside for a long periode of time stay away from standard foundation and powder. The chic way to go is to use tinted mositerizer with SPF.
Powder foundation would feel a lot lighter on your skin. Liquid foundation is more likely to cause more oiliness ,especially in hot weather. Also, it will feel heavier on your skin. Powder feels weightless but won't melt off, but comes off easier.
well i wear liquid foundation and loose mineral powder over it to lock it in all year round, so its okay i think.
just keep ur powder puff near by or oil blotting sheets for when you get shiny.
I use liquid foundation all year round.
I find powder foundation a lot better! Liquid has always just came off of me really easily. Powder just seems to, stick.
neither of them melt, but they tend to get a wierd texture in hot temps. but if your in 100 degree weather your gonna want powder.
hopes this helps!%26lt;3
Ummm mine doesn't melt? It might melt if it's cheap?
why not. it all turns to liquid anyway. plus it helps protect your skin from the sun. use sunscreen too though
I would go with the powder foundation if i were u. The liquid might smudge and possibly melt.
