How to apply liquid foundation more evenly?

I use a liquid foundation before my bare minerals powders and i use a foundation brush but it goes all patchy and uneven how can i stop this? How to apply liquid foundation more evenly?
Okay so I heard that BeautyBlender http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a> is awesome and it really helps and achieves total even coverage on the face. If you use bare minerals FOUNDATION after liquid coverup I suggest you let the liquid foundation set in first and apply bare minerals veil afterwards wait a couple of minutes then put on the rest. Be careful not too create a cakey look....always moisturize first! How to apply liquid foundation more evenly?
well what i do, is right after i wake up, i moisturize with a moisturizer than isnt greasy and absorbs into my skin. with liquid foundation, if you have one tiny flake, it makes it stand out like hell, i know. youre supposed to rub it outward and up. theres many vids on youtube. but what i would say, is moisturize before, then apply. sometimes i use tea bags in the morning for my skin to reduce in the uneveness. and also, youre supposed to use concealer underneath, so the foundation has just a tiny job of evening it out. by then, its supposed to be even. if not, use a foundation primer.
I think you're supposed to use just the mineral makeup with nothing under it. Maybe this video will help.

Exfoliate once a week, moisturise daily and ALWAYS use a foundation brush. I never put on fondation without mine.
