i use my fingertips. i put some foundation on my left palm and use it as a palette, and use my fingertips from my right hand to put on the appropriate amount on my cheeks, forehead, chin, and blend.

I love liquid makeup foundation, it has that natural sensational look so whatever u use will not go wrong if you slowly apply ur makeup so you can have the best coverage to suit you. Most people like myself I wear it differently. During the day I go for light coverage and when I go out at night I go wild on it.


Now, I've tried 3 things for application (sponge, fingers and make-up brush) I can tell you that they are all the same and none of them will do a different job. What you need to do is when using ur fingers make sure ur hands are washed and there's isnt any oil on them and avoid rubbing cos that spreads unevenly. When using a sponge you need to use the dabbing/patting method for a natural finish rather than smoothing across the face cos that'll also spread to the wrong places. When using a brush try small brushing movements almost like dabbing as well cos it can be tricky.

Use a sponge it evens it out plus make sure you put it on after your moisturizer that way it glides on and gives you the extra protection.

i find that the best way is to use a sponge, but a dab on your forehead, on each cheek, on your nose, and one on your chin. then rub it all in. Have fun!
soak your sponge in water. sqeeze out the access water and then apply foundation to the sponge. water makes the foundation blend better and u apply it more evenly.

I prefer a sponge. I've tried both and I just don't like getting my fingers all messy! lol! It's really up to you.
