What grade should you wear liquid foundation?

I was just curious. Do you think grade 9 is a good time to start? Do you think teenagers shouldn't use it? Do you use it or not. If you do what grade did you start at? Right now, skin wise, I use a pressed powder. Also I use a tinted moisturizer.

How much make up should high school students wear? What grade should you wear liquid foundation?
some girls at a younger age are so excited about wearing makeup that they put waaaaaaaay too much on and it looks cakey and clown-like (especially if they used a foundation that was a lot lighter than their actual skin color). when you're young you have the most beautiful skin you will ever have. when your older is when the foundation comes into play because your skin will have aged. but if you do have a lot of scars a little bit of foundation can go a long way. when i was in middle school a girl wore so much foundation that her natural skin color had become this yellow because her skin never was able to breathe. i think the pressed powder and the moisturizer is good for the age you're at right now. i'm 23 and i only recently started using foundation though i could get away with just powder. i wore foundation a little when i was younger but only a few times. i would recommend a moisturizer with sunblock though, start protecting your skin from the sun now and you'll keep it looking young and fresh for when you're older. What grade should you wear liquid foundation?
Liquid foundation is hideous for your skin.

Unless ABSOLUTELY necessary, I suggest avoiding it.

Instead, use something like a whipped foundation like Covergirl whips. Or continue using a tinted moisturizer with a pressed powder.

I think a teen's skin is already going through enough stress with high school and acne, so the added stress of a liquid foundation is likely to make you break out.

Stick to the light stuff and it'll keep your skin healthy and provide the coverage you're seeking.
why start if you don't need it?

I have been through a lot of schooling...all right. so not too much, but enough to understand where people start using makeup

its generally 6th grade when you ask for permission and in 7th when you start.

i personally dont use makeup on a daily basis. teenagers shoud focus on their future, not appearance

what is the goal of make-up? to hide blemishes? what is the point of that?

i think your tinted moisturizer and power is fine. maybe even without the powder would be all right.

if you really want to wear makeup, i suggest using something light but not much. for instance, a tinted lip balm or a swipe of eyeshadow.

as well, foundation will be a short-term cover up. it will kill your skin later
i started wearing liquid foundation in 8th grade (was almost 15), last year, and i think it's ok as long as you find the right shade, don't put too much on, and wash your face once or twice a day. I prefer liquid versus powder, because it's easier to hide blemishes and it looks more smooth and even. also powdered gave me trouble with acne- hope this helps =)
i dont really look at age a huge factor, unless your in like grade 7, then maybe you shouldnt be wearing makeup.

If you have to hide a lot of imperfections on your skin, then yeah go ahead and use it.

im in grade 12 and i use foundation every day.

theres a big difference between grade 9 and grade 12 though.
At the beginning of 7th I used a pressed powder, but I started wearing liquid foundation in the middle of 7th grade. My skin was kinda red-tinted near my blemishes, so it helped.

Now I'm in 8th and wear mineral foundation. I prefer it over liquid. Causes less blemishes.
well i'm a freshman in high school, and i have a lot of acne scars so i have to wear foundation. i don't think it matters how old you are unless you're lk.. in junior high. just make sure it looks clean and natural and don't be afraid to ask your make up consultant questions.

:D
I started wearing make-up my sophomore year of high school, but there is nothing wrong with beginning to use it in 8th or 9th grade. I used just powder for a long time, but switched to liquid foundation just recently.
I used a tinted moisturizer when I was 12 in grade 6. Why? Because I had a lot of pimples then and redness. I needed something other than just concealer to cover it up.

I still use the same tinted mositurizer now, and I'm 14.
i started wearing it at the age of 12 just because honestly it made me look better

wear it whenever your comfertable with wearing it but i know a lot of girls who are wearing it in 7th and 8th grade
yeah ive been wearing liquid since 7th grade but not too much just enough so it still looks natural
