For best cover-up- use a solid foundation. I have Prescriptives that comes in a compact in a little pot with a sponge. (I don鈥檛 use the sponge). Then I have Bobbi Brown stick foundation. I love both of them. Great coverage and it lasts all day. I apply with a brush or blot with fingertips for more coverage. What kind of liquid foundation is best for covering up imperfections?
dream matte mousee i luv it it isnt really liquid , but it is awsome
dream mouse covers everything and is great
I prefer to use mineral powder foundation to cover imperfections. I generally go with Bare Minerals or Arbonne. But in instances when someone requests liquid foundation for whatever reason, I generally go with Arbonne's About Face Liquid Foundation. My friend who sells it recently introduced me to their new and improved formula and I have to admit I was surprised at its texture. This is an oil-free formula and we did touch up a couple of times but our model was under lights so that is expected. My experience with Arbonne has been that my models have not broken out with their products which is a big plus and they have worked well for those that have sensitive skin. In the past, they had a makeup stick that was great for touch ups and for covering imperfections, however I understand that they have temporarily discontinued and are reformulating.
One of my other makeup artist friends uses Smashbox foundation and swears by it. I have not used it yet as I am very satisfied with what I am using.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!! :)
