Liquid and Gel Foundations causes breakouts?

I have a semi-oily skin and I'm afraid to use liquid and gel foundations because they say that it will only cause my skin to break out. Is it true and what brands would you suggest?Liquid and Gel Foundations causes breakouts?
well, i have oily skin but u cant tell because i just use maybelline matter powder... i used to wear liquid foundation, powder, blush, bronzer and everything but my face would just get icky and cakey yuuck! so i just put concealer on bad spots and then use my nice brushes (got them from bare minerals) and i apply the powder to my face!!! voila!Liquid and Gel Foundations causes breakouts?
Your pores are likely getting blocked and/or you're allergic to something in your current makeup.

Some things are just worth paying a little extra for. I'd strongly suggest that you go to your nearest Nordstrom's and spend some time with their makeup department (start at the MAC counter), to identify what brand(s), will work best for you.

Yes, it's a bit expensive up front cost, but it lasts and who needs the acne headache?
i use covergirl true blend loose mineral powder...

i have oily skin, so the powder helps my skin glow...not shine.

it doesnt matte my skin, so when the sun hits it perfectly, it looks like i have a PERFECT tan.

its around 5 or 7 dollars...im not too sure...but..it helps, just make sure you wash it off every night before bed,
go with powder.

1. doesnt clog pores (for the most part)

2. it'll take care of your oil.

i suggest.. Bare Minerals.Covergirl. Neutrogena.Avon.

and you might want to get Oil Blotter sheets for touch ups(Clean%26amp;Clear has great ones!)

good luck! :)
