Is powered foundation or liquid foundation better for skin with zits?

And what kind of foundation will last longIs powered foundation or liquid foundation better for skin with zits?
it has nothing to do which make up you should use. to be able to get rid of your zits is your primary problem. make up won't solve your problem to get rid of them. you have to see a dermatologist to help you up with this. the dermatologist will give you a good cream or liquid solution to apply before you go to bed and right sunblock to help you rid off your zits problem. once your problem is over you can ask your dermatologist which make up brand or products she can recommend for you to use so that your zits will not return. powder
Powder because liquid foundation just makes your face look cakey and clogs more.
Powdered bc it wont clog up ur pores as much and it keeps the shine at bay

For 10 points for best answer. Wanna try to interpret my dream http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
Any kind of makeup will clog up your pores and make your acne worse. There are oil free makeups and the mineral makeups, which are supposed to be better, but neither of those will help your acne problem. This is what I recommend (I used to have the same problem):

Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to flush the impurities from your skin.

Get an acne wash called PanOxyl (Wal-Mart/drugstores). It's prescription stregnth, but OTC and about $7.

Get the Mint Julep masque by Queen Helene and use it once a week.

Also get a scrub like St. Ives Apricot Scrub and use that 1-2 times per week as well.

Get your skin clearing up so you don't need to cover your zits.

Instead of foundation get yourself a tinted moisturizer or a very thin liquid foundation. I believe Neutrogena makes one (makeup isle) with SPF 15 in it. It's much better for your skin and it will help to even out the tone and texture. There is also a more expensive one by Stila (Sephora or online).

If I'm competely off in the assumption that you have a semi-serious acne problem I would say get a conceilor for spot covering your zits. Physicians Formula makes some nice stuff.

Hope it helps.
Either is really fine as long as it's oil free. Please use sanitary methods of applying though, brushes are best. Alot of people say their ';makeup'; breaks them out when it can actually be their application style. Fingers don't helpyour skin, since they have oil and dirt on them. They usually don't leave the best finish either. If you use a pressed powder, DO NOT use the sponge or puff that comes with it, use a brush. Once you use the sponge on your face and put it back in the container, all the oils and bacteria on your face mix with the product, the bacteria multiples, and then when you apply again it goes back on your face, looks cakey, and can break you out. If you use a latex sponge with liquid, change it every week. Brushes are most sanitary and need to be washed every 1-2 weeks.

Also be sure to cleanse your face every night to remove makeup, using a cleanser made for your skin type. Don't forget to moisturize.
Physicians Formula liquid mineral makeup us really good. Also Maybelline has a good liquid mineral makeup also. I am not a big fan of powder makeup myself.
liquid will last long

but powdered look less cakey LOL
