Will liquid foundation melt off my face?

I am a high school student with dry skin on my cheeks and REALLY oily skin on my t-zone (i have combination skin) During the day one of my classes is gym. Will liquid foundation melt off my face and make me look like a hot mess? Will liquid foundation melt off my face?
If you want liquid, I'd say just stick with tinted moisturizer. That way, if it melts off, it's not like ';oh my god your face is melting off!'; and it would be easy to redo.

Otherwise, try a powder foundation. Bring some makeup removing wipes (try baby wipes, or any that aren't meant to be a cleanser as well) and either remove the foundation before, or after gym (i would do it before - who wants sweaty foundation?) and then reapply it.

Or use both tinted moisturizer and a light powder over top. This will allow you for some extra coverage, but not really cakey, and it will provide your skin with a moisturizer. Look for products with SPF in them, that way you don't need to apply SPF separately. But if you are going to take your makeup off before gym and are going outside, then be sure you bring your sunscreen and apply some.

Also, having the powder over hte liquid will help when it needs touching up.Will liquid foundation melt off my face?
It really depends what makeup you use. (For example, Maybelline will definetly melt, but Revlon Colorstay may stay on.) But I would suggest L'Oreal Bare Naturale mineral makeup if you have time to go out and buy some. It's powder foundation and it's amazing! Flawless coverage and no shine!!!
The new powder foundations out now are pretty good - I would go for one of those instead, as liquid foundations are often not great at staying put during activities.

I use bare escentuals but loads of makeup companies have their own brand out, at more affordable prices. You should give that a try - it doesn't come off til you want it to!

Good luck. :)
depends on the foundation... Try Revlon colorstay foundation for oily-combination skin. It's not expensive and it will stay for a long time!! But it's very thick. Also putting mineral powder will help absorb oil!
