What is the best utensil to use for applying liquid foundation?

a really good foundation brush. estelauder do a really good one. its the quality of the hairs in the brush. mac do one, bare essencials. i use two brushes, a small concealer one, and a large one for foundation. What is the best utensil to use for applying liquid foundation?
I find my finger tips work best, just make sure your hands are washed first. You can use a sponge wedge or similar but they can harbour germs and grease and can leave streaky marks. But that's maybe cos I'm doing it wrong! What is the best utensil to use for applying liquid foundation?
I use my fingertips first and soft a sea sponge to blend. i find this so much easier than using a sponge applicator beacause i think its a waste of foundation coz moat sponges absorb too much foundation
A trowel?????
A slightly wet makeup sponge works great. The makeup looks smoother and the skin feels hydrated.
a slightley dampened make up sponge, does the trick.
definately a sponge
Either your fingers to control application or a circular sponge (if you moisten it slightly before, helps with a smoother application).
A good sponge...not too soft. Wedge shape is the best.
finger
Liquid foundation spreads well when you use your fingers. but if you are sensitive about that you cau use a make-up sponge that are found in most cosmetic shops
Fingers for all over then a tiny make-up brush to go over individual blemishes.
a hand
Do not build a foundation out of liquid!

the house will fall down!
when i get my make up done professionally they use foundation brushes
i think the best tool for applying liquid foundation is your hand's.you can't go wrong it gives you an even all over cover.
A foundation brush it gives a flawlees result.
Your fingers are best as the heat from your hands help to smooth the foundation better.
baby sponge!
your finger tips unless it is a really runny one in which case a sponge
a small make-up sponge
either your fingertips or a sponge. i personally prefer to use my fingertips because i just feel like i get the best coverage but everybody is different. some people use a foundation brush, it seems interesting and i'd like to try it, but i don't know that i would.
Your fingers are always best - whilst a lot of people recommend sponges - these are quite dirty to be using in the sense that even if you wash them regularly - there is still a build up of dirt and bacteria on them and every time you apply make up with them you are spreading this and adding to it!

Fingers are also easier to apply it with because the make up doesnt get absorbed by them and they are just that bit easier to blend in with! xx
You can get a really good brush from The Body Shop it is especially for applying foundation, I cannot remember the name but if you go onto the website you will be able to see it. I have seen it in action it is really good!
your fingers. you have more control and plus most utensils waste it cos they soak it all up.
clean fingers
Use the palm of your hand and fingertips, this way the foundation is distributed evenly useing a spong or brush wont give you that smoothness
i always use my finger. it works the best and doesn't soak up all the foundation.
sponge
Alcopol
use a foundation applicator or a small sponge should do the trick!
