I have 2 words for you girl - Bare Minerals, It is so awesome - my dermatologist recommended it. Actually it might help your oily skin since it doesn't clog pores - its so good for your skin! And it looks soo natural!Any tips on how to make liquid foundation last longer with oily skin?
this is gonna sound really really weird but a friend of mine would mix her foundation with Milk of Magnesia- it lasted longer and it helped to smooth out the foundation for a more even-toned look.
First you need to buy a product that can help your oily skin (here is one from neutogena)...

Do you know what makes your face oily and shiny? It's definitely not the food you eat. The truth is, oily shiny skin is most common in the T-zone鈥攖he forehead, nose and chin鈥攁lthough some people have oily skin over their entire face. The T-zone is more likely to produce excess oil than any other area of the face due to larger, more active oil glands. Your age and your genes can impact how oily your skin is. Increased hormonal activity, especially during adolescence, can also lead to increased oil production. Skin can seem even oilier during the summer months when hot weather leads to increased perspiration.

To help control oily skin, try products with formulas that reduce oil and minimize shine. First, wash your face with Deep Clean Cream Cleanser. Its oil-free formula cleanses deep down into pores, removing dirt, oil and makeup. After cleansing, use Deep Clean Astringent to effectively control excess surface oil and reduce shine. If you wear makeup, try SkinClearing oil-free pressed powder for touch-ups throughout the day. Its sheer coverage leaves you with a natural-looking, flawless finish, plus it gives you extra shine control.
Try a powder
Try covergirl fresh look oil-absorbing sheets. You get about 25 little blue sheets in a pack and just wipe one of the sheets over your face to absorb the oil. It will leave your makeup looking fresh and just use the sheets as often as needed.
Use facial blotters. You apply them and blot your chin, cheeks and nose especially, they absorb the oils off your skin and don't take the make up with them. Just blot every 2-3 hours or as needed.

I used to work full time and go to school 4 hours after work, using blotters kept my makeup on and looking as good as it did in the morning when I put it on and kept my face from feeling like an oil slick.

You can buy them in the drugstore on the makeup aisle or on ebay or...

I am cheap though, and since the ones you buy are actually just little 3 or 4 inch squares of white tissue paper (like for gift wrapping), I have actually just cut up my own and put in a compact or baggie in my purse. You can get packs of tissue paper in the dollar stores.
Let me know when you find the answer, I have the same problem. Try switching foundations, some are more oily than others.
try using bare minerals instead of liquid foundation with oily skin,..

bare minerals is all natural and it's powder based,... it's even great on dry skin
use mineral makeup, though i don't recommend Bare Minerals due to the bismuth oxychloride

use a primer. the one i love is Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera gel
You need to purchase a foundation for oily skin and apply it after you wash your face. You should wash your face with warm water and then rinse with cold water. Another helpful suggestion is to use Stridex pads at night or anything similar to that. Powder should be applied lightly and only twice a day however, that doesn't always work well because it does come off. Try a foundation for dry skin (Lancome) is one of the best and one their face powders. With this daily regimen you should see good results!!!!
put a light touch of powder on over it , it will help your makeup stick longer
Maybe you should try using face wash then patting it fry and putting on foundation. I use clean and clear morning burst. Then i use dream mousse or covergirl foundation. it works on my face...
